On 1st November, we officially launched our Freeze Crunchy sweets in SPAR stores, and what better way to celebrate than with an exciting sampling session at SPAR Myatts Field on 8th November? It was the perfect opportunity to introduce people to these innovative sweets and show them why everyone’s talking about them!
If you’re not familiar with freeze-dried sweets, let us explain. The process involves freezing the sweets and then using a powerful vacuum to remove all moisture. This creates a light, crispy texture that’s hard to resist. Fun fact: this technology was originally developed by NASA to preserve food and reduce its weight for space travel. Amazing, isn’t it?
We are so proud to say that we are staying ahead of the game by owning a Freeze Drying factory. This gives us the freedom to offer Freeze Crunchy sweets at a much more affordable price compared to other brands.
Now, let’s talk about our Spar sampling event, because it was a success!
At the event, we invited everyone to try our Freeze Dried sweets and provided flyers explaining how the sweets are made. They also had a chance to win a £50 Spar voucher by signing up to our newsletter and get some feedback about our new product. People expressed their love for the sweets, suggesting new flavours and highlighting how affordable they are compared to other brands.
Velayuthapil Kumarathasan, Store Manager at SPAR Cromwell Rd., shared his excitement: “we are very happy to be the first to stock Bebeto Freeze Crunchy sweets; it’s such a great product and so many people bought packs straight after tasting them”.
Hundreds of sweets were given out, and sales went up during the event, proving the buzz around these sweets is real.
